Today I went to Dennys on West Broadway with a friend and my 2 year old, we were seated in a section that after we were seated a group of 12 or so cops were seated in that section as well, even though we were there first the cops were served first which led to us waiting for over 20 minutes for even our drink order to be taken. After which we waited over 40 minutes for our food to be delivered (which was one sandwich with fries to be shared and a kids meal) when we received our food it was cold, and soggy. My 2 year old even asked why her bacon was cold. when I tried to get the servers attention to let her know we were unsatisfied she ignored us to once again serve the cops fresh coffee. I had to get my little one home for a nap and since we had waited so long for our food and were really hungry we choked it down . we commented to the server that we were unsatisfied to which she just made excuses. The manager came over and told us she would take off 20% off our bill, which in my opinion is not enough. All I can say is that I will not be returning to this restaurant ever again after being treated like we were second rate citizens.
I received an EMail from Mr. Edward So offering an apology for the incident on Sept. 4th, 2010 when the Paramedics came and took me to Mt. St. Joseph's Hospital. After being hospitalized for the better part of that weekend, when I returned home I EMailed Denny's on Wst Broadway, near the intersection of Broadway & Alder. Mr. So also offered coupons upon received of my mailing address. My friend and I live directly behind Denny's at 1265 Wst 10th, My Apt. #102, Vancouver, B.C. V6H 1J5. Thank-you.
